Refund Policy

Realms and Roads is operated by Fidel Namisi. This policy explains when and how refunds are provided for paid memberships.
Cancellations
You may cancel your paid subscription at any time from your account page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you will continue to have full access to all paid content until then. No further charges will be made after cancellation.
Refund Eligibility
I offer refunds in the following circumstances:
- Duplicate or accidental charges: If you were charged more than once for the same subscription period, I will refund the duplicate charge in full.
- Technical failure: If a payment was processed but your account was not activated or you were unable to access content due to a technical fault on my end, I will refund that payment in full.
- First-time subscribers within 7 days: If you subscribed for the first time and are not satisfied with the service, contact me within 7 days of your first charge and I will issue a full refund.
- Service discontinuation: If I permanently discontinue the paid membership service, I will issue pro-rated refunds for any unused portion of active subscriptions.
Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds are generally not provided in the following cases:
- You forgot to cancel before the next billing date.
- You did not use the service during the billing period.
- You cancelled mid-cycle and still have access to paid content for the remainder of the period.
I handle each request individually and am willing to use discretion in edge cases — please just reach out.
How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, email me at hello@realmsandroads.com with the subject line "Refund Request" and include:
- The email address associated with your account
- The date and amount of the charge
- A brief explanation of why you are requesting a refund
I will respond within 48 hours and process approved refunds within 5–10 business days. Refunds are returned to the original payment method via Paystack.
Disputes
If you are unable to resolve a billing issue directly with me, you may raise a dispute with your card issuer or bank. I will cooperate fully with any such process. However, I encourage you to contact me first — most issues can be resolved quickly and directly.
